The end of an Era

What Era, you might ask?? Well, for me, it is the era of old cars. Okay, really old cars. You see, I have really never owned (besides Mark's truck that he got before he knew me), a nicer car. Until now...and you saw my beauty yesterday. Anyhow. We happily, and sadly, have sold the Taurus! "Popo", as those who have been close to her know her as, has been a faithful companion for many moons. I hope she will forgive me for letting her go - but the good news is she is getting a good home! Little 16 year old Ray will pick her up on Saturday morning... and he is Oh so Happy to get her!! You see, when he test drove her a couple days ago his response to his mom's question of, "What do you think?" was, "Oh, man! She drives perfectly!!" Another lesson in perspective... it is all about perspective in life :) So here's to Popo - for all her roadtrips back and forth to Tennessee, to surviving (kinda) her collision with a deer on a Mother's day, to living with "black on black" rims due to the lack of quality hubcaps that stay on, to her summers at Spring Hill, and to her wanna-be police car look... you will be gone Popo, but never forgotten!
We love you!
